America Isn’t the Greatest Country in the World Anymore! Profiting Off Our Failures is Not Success its Corrupt Capitalism. We are living in a dictatorship called the American Way. We speak about how what makes America great, speaking about Diversity yet we also say Diversity is what is destroying America. Blaming everyone but the White Supremacists. The America that we are living has strayed so far from the roots that founded us. We have failed to take care of our own people. We have failed to provide proper education for our citizens. We have failed to solve problems and continued to create new ones. America rates its success off our profits, yet we don’t even own our own country anymore. We have acquired so much debt that most of our USA is owned by China & other countries.
So lets have a real talk for a moment to be honest about our country. Our history books are as edited & revised as the Bible. We take the news for actual facts, yet we have seen the lies & manipulation of media time & time again. We have seen politicians get dismissed from FBI investigations on live TV. We see the diluted laws & abuse of their power when situations call for it. We wave our flag of freedom & diversity around pretending that we still hold true to our original brand. What most people don’t understand about the USA is we are a brand; however brands are a living breathing organism that evolves. The America that was founded by the consitution is not the same brand of America we live in today. When we discuss gun control & our god given rights we seem to forget that times has changed. Our entitlements that past generations fought for are not longer relevant. We have become desensitized from our role in our own failure. We blame countries or minorities shifting the focus away from the real issue. Why are we not allowed to evaluate the state of our union in a less superficial manner? Lets get to the core of our problems.
Some of America’s top problems include: hunger & homeless continually rising, we have the highest incarcerated citizens per capita anywhere in the world with a 50% return rate! The Dog Industry has 1.5 Million dogs that get rescued & over half get returned. Thats a 50% return rate, over 750,000 dogs per year! Education & Preparation for real life scenarios in our school systems from, the unemployment rate & jobs being outsourced to foreign countries. These are just a few of the problems I believe we need focus on and solve. Here are some questions I want ASKED
So how does someone end up homeless in the USA? (The Greatest Country in the World?)
How does someone end up in prison in the USA? (The Greatest Country in the World?)
Why do 50% of rescue dogs get returned in the USA? (The Greatest Country in the World?)
Why would we hire people out of the USA? If WE ARE (The Greatest Country in the World?)
Why does 80% make up the middle & lower class in the USA? (The Greatest Country in the World?)
Why is there no consistency in Natural vs Nurture in the USA? (The Greatest Country in the World?)
If we provided a quality of life that would guarantee a constant environment for nurturing we could be able to provide a constant outcome. We focus on individuality & the freedom to be whoever we want with out preparation for success. What good is it to be told ” You can be anything you want” and then you don’t prepare them with the skills needed to become anything. We don’t even give them the preparation to become a manager at their local McDonalds. America the beautiful or America the failed country.
Fuck Universal Health Care thats a lazy way of solving a problem. Why are people in such a need for health care? Why are we ok with a large percentage of our society being obese? If we educated the public from the beginning and prepared them for a healthy way of living they would live healthy lives. When 1/4 people eat fast food at least once a day we can see where the problem lies. All of the problems that we are trying to solve right now are small and petty, if not just a distraction from the fact we are a failed nation. The way we spend money on defense and building our military is similar to the stupid bully who wants to fight cause he can’t have a logical conversation. America has “run out of words” so we just throw fists up policing the world like a bully who takes everyones lunch in middle school. We wonder why most countries look at Americans like a joke. If you read a real history book on the American Culture that we are apart of you would see things from a new perspective. The worlds perspective is not aligned with the American Story.
The American way is to profit off our failures. We have found a way to make money off of our criminals. By not preparing them with basic education they will return into the prison system & continue the cycle of blind insanity. Over 750,000 dogs get returned to the shelter every year, and we have found ways to profit off our returns in the industry as well. It scares me that we are ok with this concept. Both of these large industries have over a 50% return rate, yet they keep growing every year. You would think with the amount of money made each year we would be able to solve the problem. Unfortunately the American way is not to solve the problem, its to find a way to profit off of it. This is the truth that is America. This is why we are not the greatest country in the world anymore.
In the opening sequence of the new HBO series The Newsroom, a student in the audience asks, “Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?”
Will McAvoy the News Anchor responds to the question after the two other people on stage say generic answers like Freedom & Diversity.
“And with a straight face, you’re going to tell students that America is so starspangled awesome that we’re the only ones in the world who have freedom? Canada has freedom, Japan has freedom, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, BELGIUM has freedom! Two hundred and seven sovereign states in the world, like 180 of them have freedom.
And yeah, you… sorority girl. Just in case you accidentally wander into a voting booth one day, there are some things you should know, and one of them is: There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re seventh in literacy, twenty-seventh in math, twenty-second in science, forty-ninth in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, third in median household income, number four in labor force, and number four in exports. We lead the world in only three categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real, and defense spending, where we spend more than the next twenty-six countries combined, twenty-five of whom are allies. None of this is the fault of a 20-year-old college student, but you, nonetheless, are without a doubt a member of the WORST-period-GENERATION-period-EVER-period, so when you ask what makes us the greatest country in the world, I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about! Yosemite?
We stood up for what was right, we fought for moral reasons, we passed laws, struck down laws for moral reasons. We waged wars on poverty, not poor people. We sacrificed, we cared about our neighbors, we put our money where our mouths were, and we never beat our chest. We built great big things, made ungodly technological advances, explored the universe, cured disease, and we cultivated the world’s greatest artists and the world’s greatest economy. We reached for the stars, acted like men. We aspired to intelligence, we didn’t belittle it, it didn’t make us feel inferior. We didn’t identify ourselves by who we voted for in the last election, and we didn’t scare so easy.
